High risk HPV, abnormal paps, uterine cancer history

Bear with me here while I get this together. I was diagnosed a year ago with a high risk strain of hpv. I've had the repeat paps, biopsies, colposcopy, etc. My mother and sister have both had uterine cancer and my sister and I both have polycystic ovarian syndrome. I have some symptoms....pain with intercourse, some small bleeding after intercourse, low back pain. I've been on Metformin for months now with no periods. For awhile I had constant bleeding and now none. I will be 41 this year, I've had two children (twins with the use of fertility drugs). I suppose my question is....where do I go from here. I don't want to go through this stress every 3 months of pap tests....I've had all the children I'm going to have, my family history of reproductive cancer....what are your thoughts on hysterectomy? I know it's major surgery and all and I'm no strange to that....I just don't want to keep having the paps showing now signs of cancer until one day...BOOM...there it is....any advice is so appreciated.

I'm sorry, I would like to help but I lack the expertise you need. STD specialists are not experts in the management of cervical HPV infection, or cervical or uterine cancer. (In my STD clinic, we refer women with abnormal paps to gynecologists for management; we don't do it ourselves.) And I know little about management of polycystic ovary disease or the indications for hysterectomy. You need the advice of a gynecologist.
