a tad nervous

Doc,

I noticed yesterday that I had developed 2 small red dots, basically pimple like on the left side of my pelvic regoin, basically right where my left leg and pubic region come together.  Also I have a little blister/cut in the area between my pubic hair and my bellybutton that maybe developed late last week, not really sure, however it started out as a little pimplely looking as well.  Nothing hurts at all, except the one above my pubic line becasue I popped it earlier today and only blood came out, now it just feels like a cut that was reopened.  A few weeks ago I trimed with clippers my pubic hair region, leaving me basically bald but not shaved with a razor.  I am curious if it sounds like herpes to you?  I had unprotected sex on 8-30 but nothing unprotected since then and it had been a girl I had been wtih before off and on.  I don't have any syptoms on my penis or scrotum, just the aforementioned bumps.  I think the one below my belly button could just be some irritation from wearing jeans with no underwear, maybe the same can be said for the other areas.  Either way I would love to hear your opinion with my condition.

Thank you!

Herpes does not occur commonly in either location (groin, lower abdomen), and the description doesn't really suggest herpes for the lesions you describe.

any idea as to what they could be?  Possible irritation from exercise, boxer breifs, sweating.  I do work out 5-6 days a week.  Thank you!

Far and away the most common lesions of the sort you describe in those locations are simple acne; or folliculitis (hair follicle infection), which can be triggered by shaving.  But that's only a statement of probability; I can't otherwise predict in your particular case.  See a health care provider if the lesions don't clear up in a few days.
