am i over thinking it

Over a year ago I had sex for about 10 seconds with a guy, and i havn't had sex since because of how worried i am. I noticed a small bump on his penis and questioned him about it and ofcourse he said it was not an std. Since then I have worried myself sick. I am always feeling and looking down there. i have been to the obgyn 3 times in a year and had two paps that were normal and on the third visit he just looked for any signs of warts or anything. He said he saw nothing and that they would have more than likely shown up by now since it has been over a year. I still worry for some reason. Several days ago I was feeling down there and felt a very miniscule bump. It was so tiny that even with a magnifying mirror I could hardly see it. Well it worried me so i have been looking at it ever since. It hasn't grown in size and is flesh colored. I finally scratched my nail over it and it came off (i probably scratched hard). It blead for a minute and stopped and have not seen it come back, but that was only like a day or two ago. Could it be warts or just something else. Wouldn't my paps be abnormal if i had signs of warts? Or wouldn't i have pretty visible signs if i indeed had warts? That is the only bump type thing that I have had down there since that guy

To be honest, I don't know why you are so concerned. Your ObG is exactly right. What if he had a wart? If you haven't developed visible warts by now from that exposure, you aren't going to; and even if you had an asymptomatic wart virus infection, it would have cleared up by now. Either way, at this point clearly you are home free.
As to your new bump, it sounds like a skin tag. But I can't tell for sure; see your ObG again if you remain concerned about it.
Looking at the title you chose for this question, indeed you are way 'over thinking it'. You need to read up about HPV and how much of a non-problem it is. Everybody gets genital HPV; it is inevitable and unavoidable, a normal part of being a sexually active human being. Most infections are asymptomatic, never causing either warts or an abnormal pap smear. It's just like having staph or strep bacteria on your skin and E. coli in your intestine: sometime those normal bacteria can cause serious infections, but mostly they just sit there.
Sexually active women should have the HPV vaccine, to reduce infection with the most common wart-causing and cancer-causing HPV types. And follow standard recommendations about pap smears. Otherwise, just forget HPV as a health issue in your life.

It was probably a skin tag. I have had one and was very concerned but my doctor removed it and tested it and it was a skin tag. Warts are usually colliflower looking

Stop searching for things! You probably would have never even noticed the "tiny bump" if you never saw that "bump" on your partner's penis. You are over reacting. Leave that area alone from now on, unless you really FEEL something. And you will know it. You won't have to search & search for it.
