OK my problem is that i havent had any sexual content with anybody sence late September of 04 but just a couple of days after having sex with her i ended up gettin a not a "cold sore" but a canker sore in my mouth right along side the roof of my gums outside of my teath I have been known to have a few a year sense i was young but the timing scared me 3 weeks later i was tested for std's however a blood test was never given and everything came back negative i have had 2 small canker sores that last about 5 days or so sence and none of them have been anywhere near the same spot. now the thing that worries me the most is about mid December of 04 after masterbation i noticed a small cut on the head of my penis just to the left of my opening i thought that maybe it was from masterbating to "hard" or whatever however it healed with no scare or anything and then a couple days later a small red bumb smalller then a tip of a pen appeared iut's been about 3 months now and the small red bump still appears athough it seems to get even smaller and rareer to appear and only after masterbation however along with the small bumb the skin arrounf my opening on the tip of my penis also somewhat swells almost like a black eye and only for about 10-13 hours after masterbation then slowly goes down theres really no pain with the redness or anything just scared of what it might be i mean it hasent gone away like and outbreak of herpes would or anything it happens everytime after masterbation any suggestion on what this might be? thanks Zach

Herpes outbreaks are never triggered by local irritation, rubbing, etc--i.e., masturbation can't trigger a herpes outbreak. Sounds like you're just irritating yourself, but not herpes. Canker sores in the mouth aren't herpes. But the standard advice applies: to be sure, see a health care provider for accurate diagnosis of the penile irritation, oral lesions, or both.
