Left hand and leg pain can not move and slowly moving to right side of body

by withprasad, Apr 07, 2006 12:00AM
Hello,

My mom she is 53 years old. She has BP and sugar taking medicines properly. From past 3 years she is not able to lift her left hand. There is pain when the left hand is lifted above 30 degree. Can any one please help me in understanding the problem. What is the name of this problem?. And I am sure this pain is not for stroke, because this doesnot happened immediately, it slowly happened also now it is spreading to right side of body. Now I am really worried, She needs somebody to walk, eat and for every thing.  This all happened after her period got stoped.

Kindly please let me know what is the cure for this.  I want my mom to be back to normal.  If i am not clear pls let me know.

Awaiting anybodies response or inputs. Please mail me to my email address ***@****

Thanks

hi

i guess this a problem with the backbone and maybe u need to take an MRI of the spine from the neck to the end toward the legs.sometimes when thhe bones comprising the backbone move slightly sideways, then there is pressure on the flow of blood and due to this there is acute discomfort.my mom also had a similar problem and has been cured by surgery.the problem in the hand also could be a frozen shoulder and as per my knowledge, this can be best treated with a combination of acupuncture/accupressure and homeopathy.anywhichways, it is first best to get an MRI done and then decide depending on the reports.also pls note that if unfortunately this is the problem, make sure u go to a really good doctor as it involves the nervous system and if proper care is not taken, it could lead to other issues.this is definitely treatable.all the best!!!!
