All levels fine except for low FT-3

I had my thyroid removed due to Graves disease and inability to remain stable on ATD's.  The dx at removal was hashitoxicosis.

My thyroid lab's post op have been fairly stable with a TSH of under 1 but in range, FT-4 slightly higher than mid range, FT-3 in low range 2.6-2.8 with range being 2.3-4.2.

The only symptom I have with this low FT-3 is constipation.

Could a low FT-3 cause only constipation and no other hypo symptoms?  I have tried cytomel for a few weeks but a higher FT-3 made me have heart palp's and anxiety and it only went to 3.2 to produce those symptoms.

The levels all look fine -- if a trial of cytomel (make sure it's only 5mcg-10mcg total/day though -- some docs use too much cytomel, ie 25 or 50mcg) does not help then combo t4/t3 is not for you regardless of what your T3 levels show.
