37 year old female,5'3" 172 lbs. These are my symptoms: daily morning pain, stiffness, achiness in hands, ankles, feet & legs. The joints in my fingers are swollen & w/discomfort. Stiffness in eve.Diagnosed w/planter faciitis in both feet w/heal spurs 2 yrs ago but not responding to orthotics & stretching.I have had low back pain since age 18.Diagnosed w/disc degeneration in L4–L5 & L5-S1(MRI). Limited range of motion in my low back. I get spinal manipulations 1x every 3 weeks. Prolotherapy injections for my joint instability from ligament weakness- in my sacroiliac ligaments 1x every 3 months. Recent PMS symptoms of nervousness & menstrual cramping which I never had before in my life.I have tendonitis/carpel tunnel & loss of strength in both wrists.I have recent frequent urination but not much comes out.I sometimes have 3-4 bowel movements a day.Sporadic diarrhea & constipation sometimes both in one day. I have somewhat frequent intestinal cramping and/or pain before bowel movements. I saw (2) doctors 2 months ago for irritation & dryness in both eyes.Neither saw dryness but saw inflammation. They treated me for conjunctivitis. They gave me a prescription for antibiotic drops & it took a month to go away, now it's back again. It has been very hard for me to lose weight.Recent facial dryness & acne.Frequent sinus congestion.Sensitive to barometric changes in weather. How do I present all these symptoms to a doctor? My GP sent me for ANA & Rheumatoid Factor and CBC blood tests and they all came back within normal range.

I agree with pursuing a rheumatologic course.  It is encouraging that the ANA level and rheumatoid factor were negative.  Irritation and dryness of the eyes can be indicative of Sjogren's syndrome.  A rheumatology evaluation can be considered if suspected, as well as blood tests like the anti-Ro/SSA and anti-La/SSB antibodies.

Regarding the frequent urination, a urinalysis can be done to rule out infection.  Blood tests to evaluated for diabetes and thyroid function can be considered.

The GI symptoms should also be looked at further.  Irritable bowel disease is possible with the diarrhea and constipation symptoms.  A colonoscopy can be considered to exclude inflammatory bowel disease.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

Ask to get evaluated for Fibromyalgia and thyroid too. Have your chiro or PT check to see if your pelvis is in correct allignment also.  Good luck
