fuzzy head, constant head cold, can't concentrate, bad memory, fluid in head

I am a 37 year old male. 2 1/2 years ago I started getting these symptoms. It felt like a Head cold. Felt like wet forehead (inside). Couldn't concentrate, sometimes confused low ambition, poor memory, cranky. Lose track of what I was doing. Gazing alot. Ears slightly blocked, tingling in different parts of my head. Just like a head cold. Here is my problem!!! It has never left!! I was convinced it was a head cold because of the blocked ears wet tingling sensations etc... So I went to doctor, he thought it was anxiety or stress induced. Changes in my life, new business etc.. So he prescribed celexa. I am no longer cranky, more calm, but other symptoms are still here. Then 1 year ago was my worst year. Could hardly work. Tired constantly, eyesight blurry. Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. So I take metformin. 500mg 2times a day. Symptoms are still here. I seem to need about 10 hours sleep. I take Unisom to sleep. So I am left with the original symptoms, forgetfulness, ears slightly blocked can't focus on work. Can I run new business again? Scared. Is it nervous system, or immune system? It really feels like a head cold I never got healed from. Is there fluid in my head that won't go away? I feel disabled. I am only 37 and want to start getting healthy but have no motivation. I am 195lbs 5.5 height. I got bells palsy also 4 years ago. It left within 3 months. Please help.

A variety of neurological conditions can lead to the symptoms.  At this time, I would consider some head imaging if the symptoms are refractory.  A brain MRI would be a good start.

If there continues to be sinus pressure, a sinus CT scan and ENT referral can be considered.

I would also test for metabolic disease including thyroid dysfunction, kidney/liver tests and a blood count.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician, or in conjunction with a neurologist or ENT specialist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
