lower back pain

intercourse is very painful  i aso get like aburing pain in my lowerback on the left side n the pain is so bad the intercourse pain is so server im 47 yrs old but this has been going on for at least 2 yrs i havent had a peried in 2 yrs and that also has return i dont if all this is relate to one thing or not-i have been told i have enlarge ovevier on the side i have the pain on -thank you for your time

please get evaluated by a gynecologist. It could be as simple as drying out of the vaginal lining (treated with estrogen cream), or it could be a muscle spasm issue (treated with physical therapy), or something else. YOur gynecologist should be able to get you on the right track.

You should consult your ob/gyn about your surgical options at this point as to why your ovary is enlarged.  This may be the only method to alleviate the pain, but  a 2nd opinion also is always a good idea before surgery.  Be sure to ask about minimally invase procedures, such as laser to ensure your doc is up to date on the best technique.  Hope you are pain free soon!
