Hello. I am sorry to have to post this here on your forum as this question does not relate to humans.

My 4 year old, spayed, female Beagle (35 lbs) that is my dearest friend ate something on the weekend the vet says could have been rat poison. But they aren't sure. They induced vomiting, did a blood test, gave her charcoal, and vitamin K in oil.

My question is.......do you know at all if there are any side effects of taking vitamin K for 2 weeks (1 cc/day for 7 days then 1/2 cc/day for 7 days) if it wasn't poison?

I have asked the vet...but no one is giving me any information....

Debbie
