Controlling Mouth odor

I have malabsorption syndrome and am experiencing bad breath due to this, it is definetly not coming from the mouth but rather from the GI tract. I have tried every mint, mouthwash ect. and suggestions that might eliminate thi problem would be greatly appreciated. It is hard to get close to someone when one has this condition.
