My son is 16 months old and has had alot to diarrhea throught his life it was never much to worry about in the begining but the past 3 month he has had constint diarrhea.  I have seen the Dr. sevral times, he has refferd me to the allegrie Dr. and a   g.i. specialist.  The allegry test show he was alergic to milk and milk products so I took him off all dariy and read all lables. He contuenied to have diarrhea.  The g.i. Dr. said to take him off all fructose.  I have done that and his diarrhea has stoped.  Are their any cons to being fructose introlant?  What are some food one can eat being MILK AND FRUCTOSE INTROLANT.

Your son's G.I should have recommended that you consult with the hospitals dietician. That might be a good starting point for you. Good Luck.

I recommend you find a copy of a book called  "Breaking the Vicious Cycle," by Elaine Gottschall.  There is some reference there to alternative milk substitutes for babies there, and a lot of info regarding conditions where diarrhea is present.  And in one so young, I would ask the GI Doctor about the possibility of something called Chron's Disease.  Just a thought.  Best of luck.
