chronic infection

I have been diagnosed and treated for H-Pylori 4 times in the past 5 years...I don't understand why I keep getting this.  My dr. doesn't really answer questions.  Even after the 2 week tx., the symptoms soon return. I've had ulcers for 12 years, however, they are gone, but a biopsy from the last endoscopy was positive for h-pylori.  I did the two week tx., and feel sick again.  Now my MD wants me to have a sonogram (with the dye) of my abdomen, followed by yet another endoscopy to be sure the infection is gone.  I feel like I'm at a dead end.  I take very good care of myself, stick to a healthy diet, yet feel like I could be doing something other than taking 3000 mgs. of antibiotics everytime I get this.  I don't have much info on this condition either.  I've taken acidophilous w/ the antibiotics.  I feel so frustrated.  Any suggestions?

You can have a simple blood test for H-PYLORI and if your docyor is not answering ALL your questions get a new DOCTOR. He may not the answers.......
