Bleeding from the rectum

by hate2worry4nothing, Nov 24, 2001 12:00AM
about 2days ago, my fiance was moving his bowels when he had blood in the toilet.  It has happened only 3-4 other times, and he won't go get looked at, is it something serious??

if the blood is just in the toilet water after he has a bowel movement, it sounds like it could just be hemmorhoids or a fissure.  your fiance really should consider seeing a doc cause if they're bleeding that means they're being irritated and are probably internal, which means he may have you use some suppositories to help clear it up.  he also may have a fissure.  Either way, he should get his butt to the docs. i would HIGHLY doubt it would be anything serious, but there is no need for him to suffer with hemmorhoids when he's just too embarrassed to go to the docs with something like that :-)
