Acute nightime stomach attacks

by Genevamom, Apr 28, 2002 12:00AM
I've been awaken in the night with these acute stomach attacks for just over a year now.  I had my gallbladder out in January with hopes of these going away but no go.  I only get one or two a month.  All my bloodwork is perfect.  I am very gassy when I get one of these attacks, from both ends.  I feel like I want to throw up but I never have.  The last one hurt more than any of my labors and I am so scared as to what is wrong with me.  After the last one my doctor had me up my pepcid and put me on a low fat diet to see if that would alleviate them.  I see him again in May but I'm really frustrated.  Has anyone else experienced the same or have some insight?  Thanks.
