Can an Abdominal CT Scan detect acid leakage??

I am now scheduled to go in for an Abdominal CT Scan on Monday. I am supposed to drink a Barium Sulfate liquid in preparation. Can anyone tell me if this kind of a test will help identify stomach acid leakage?
