adderall AND zoloft

by Mary, May 11, 2000 12:00AM
I was just wondering whether there are any adverse effects in taking both adderall and zoloft.

Thanks!

Dear Mary

Adderall can cause gastrointestinal side effects such as diarrhea, constipation, unpleasant taste in mouth, appetite changes etc which can be exaggerated by using Zoloft simultaneously. So far studies haven't shown any significant adverse effects when Zoloft and Adderall are taken simultaneously. For any specific concerns, it may be helpful to discuss with your Psychiatrist in detail.

Sincerely

HFHS-M.D.
